The Milton Police Department confirmed that DJ Young Slade has gone missing in Georgia. It is known that he left his home on foot and cannot be contacted, as he didn’t carry his phone or personal belongings. Authorities have stated that he may be “disoriented” and could require assistance. According to officials who issued a missing person alert, he was last seen in the Baldwin Drive/Mayfield Road area on February 3 at 6 a.m. The authorities were actively searching Mayfield Lake, but it remains unclear if the search had anything to do with Slade’s disappearance.

The police department gave a statement to Rough Draft Atlanta, updating that Slade hasn’t been found yet, and their investigation is ongoing. They said, “Currently, there are no new developments regarding the whereabouts of Nathan Smith. He remains missing, and this continues to be an active investigation by the Milton Police Department.”

A spokesperson for Lil Jon also told everyone to respect their privacy in this difficult time through TMZ. “The family is asking for privacy at this time. We are also asking for continued prayers for Nathan to come home safe. Thank you,” the spokesperson said.

In an old interview with The Huffington Post, Lil Jon shared that he’s proud of the achievements of his son, whom he shares with Nicole Smith. He said, “When my son graduated from DJ academy, I teared up to see him following in my footsteps.”
