Miss Piggy describes filming The Muppet Show revival with Sabrina Carpenter
In a new interview with E! News, some of the beloved stars of The Muppet Show talked about various aspects of the series. Miss Piggy delved into her interaction with Sabrina Carpenter and claimed that the singer was “intimidated” by her.
“Was I intimidated?” Miss Piggy said to E! News, “If anything, I think you should ask Sabrina if she was intimidated by moi.” She further added, “Well, actually, don’t ask her that, though. Just take my word for it. She was very intimidated.”
Kermit the Frog then stepped in to balance out the conversation. He said, “What I think Miss Piggy is meaning to say…is that it was great to share the stage with Sabrina, who is an amazing singer and actress.” Miss Piggy responded, “Sure, sure, sure, yeah. That’s what I meant.”
Sabrina Carpenter also expresses her enthusiasm for their collaboration during the show. “Miss Piggy, I’m sure you get this all the time—I actually meant to tell you earlier—but you’re my idol,” Carpenter said, “Yeah, I’ve basically modeled my whole look and style after you.” Miss Piggy responded to this, “Oh, trust me, my attorneys, and I have taken notice, and we will be in touch.”
However, Carpenter was not the only major star to appear for the return of The Muppets Show. Saturday Night Live alum Maya Rudolph and The Studio’s Seth Rogen also joined her.
The Muppet Show revival special episode airs February 4, 2026, on Disney+ and ABC at 9 p.m EST.
