Stefon Diggs on When He’s Getting Girlfriend Cardi B an Engagement Ring

When celebrity relationships heat up, it’s all heated romances, romantic getaways, and of course, real pressure from their fans. This is precisely why they didn’t waste any time jumping to the big question when it comes to Stefon Diggs and Cardi B. They have time and again asked the couple, ‘When is the ring coming?’ with their romance making headlines.

To be straight, it’s quite safe to say that all eyes are on Stefon Diggs and Cardi B. Responding to this pressure, the coveted NFL star recently addressed the engagement chatter directly when questioned by a reporter.

Stefon Diggs hints at his plans for proposing to Cardi B

Stefon Diggs and Cardi B have been together since February 2025. Rumors started spreading right as they were spotted together in New York City and Miami in February 2025. Then, they went public with the same in May. He and the “I Like It” rapper also share an adorable baby. Alas, he had already had to clarify his plans for proposing. After all, according to a report by AOL, a reporter legit cornered him and asked him the question during the Super Bowl on Monday, February 2, 2026.

The reporter was very sneaky and questioned whether, if he manages to secure a win at the Super Bowl and get his championship ring, that would mean Cardi might also be ‘getting her ring’ following that success, which was quite a surprise. However, the New England Patriots wide receiver started by playing it safe as he answered, “It’s on the agenda, maybe, right? Right?”

Meanwhile, the highlight of his response was the joke he made right after saying, “Hey, I gotta get mine first!” On the other hand, the “Am I The Drama?” rapper has been very supportive of him. She has repeatedly expressed, in various interviews, just how proud and excited she is of her partner. Calling them repeat couple-goal setters wouldn’t be an exaggeration!
