Spanish Murder Mystery Series Sets Release Date for Hulu

Hulu has set the official release date for its newest international murder mystery series. The Spanish Hulu Original, which aims to capture the audience of hit series like Only Murders in the Building, will debut exclusively on Hulu in the United States soon.

If It’s Tuesday It’s Murder release date set for Hulu

Hulu has confirmed that the release date for If It’s Tuesday, It’s Murder is March 31, streaming exclusively on the streamer in the United States and on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland. The show will launch simultaneously across both platforms, making it an official global rollout.

If It’s Tuesday, It’s Murder follows an eclectic group of Spanish tourists on what begins as a routine organised trip to Lisbon. Their stay at a once-grand hotel, now falling into disrepair, takes a shocking turn when one of the travellers is found dead the morning after they arrive.

As the police investigation furthers, four members of the group, who are devoted fans of true crime and mystery novels, take it upon themselves to investigate. Their amateur inquiry forces them to question everyone around them, including each other, as buried secrets and hidden motives begin to surface. With the pressure of a ticking clock and the risk of being expelled from the tour, the would-be detectives must uncover the truth before their week in Lisbon comes to an end.

The Only Murders in the Building replacement show stars Álex García, Inma Cuesta, Ana Wagener, Pedro Casablanc, Adriano Carvalho, Paulo Pires, and Biel Montoro. The series also features Luisa Gavasa, Carmen Ruiz, Belén López, Saida Benzal, and Gorka Lasaosa.

The Spanish drama is created by Carlos Vila, known for Los misterios de Laura, and directed by Salvador Calvo (Adú, 1898) and Abigail Schaaff (Ministry of Time). It is produced in collaboration with LAZONA Producciones Group.
