The candidate shot to fame after feuding with OnlyFans star Sophie Rain online and laying out his plan to create a “sin tax” for OnlyFans creators.
James Fishback announces he’s joined Tinder
James Fishback, the gubernatorial candidate from Florida, has made himself quite a name online after he announced his plan to impose a “sin tax” on adult creators. He claimed that he would create a new law that forces OnlyFans creators to 50% of their total income to the state.
During his announcement, he picked out OnlyFans icon Sophie Rain, repeatedly telling her to prepare to pay a large sum from her massive alleged income from the platform. Rain hit back at the candidate several times, with the two going back and forth on X.
Shortly after this, Fishback is back with his controversial tactics on X. In a recent post, the candidate asked for donations from his followers to buy Tinder Plus. He claimed that he ran out of likes and attached a link for a donation. “update…I ran out of likes. could someone donate so I can get Tinder Plus?” he wrote on the post.
Before this, he made another post, where he announced that he had joined Tinder. He had written, “I’ve joined @Tinder to meet young female voters where they are, and share my plan to make it easier for them to get married, buy a home, and raise a family.”
Many users commented on the post and slammed Fishback for this controversial strategy. Many users further joked about Fishback’s post and remarked that it was very creepy.
Meanwhile, Sophie Rain has not commented on this development at the time of writing.
