Taylor Swift & Fiancé Navigating ‘Uncharted Territory’ Amid Wedding Plans — Source

Things are reportedly not all too well for Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, as per a source. The couple got engaged last August and announced it on social media with a sweet post.

With the wedding plans still underway, a source has reported that the duo is going through a “trying time” as Kelce struggles to cope with his team’s elimination from the NFL playoffs.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are ‘learning to navigate the ups and downs,’ per source

When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce began dating in 2023, they were both at very crucial points in their careers. While Swift was busy with her high-grossing Eras Tour, the NFL tight end had won the Super Bowl two years in a row. He even won a third, but the 2025-26 season was quite difficult for the Kansas City Chiefs.

A source told RadarOnline.com, “Like any top athlete, Travis is all about winning, so when things aren’t going the team’s way, he takes it pretty badly. The losses affect Taylor because she’s riding out all of those emotions alongside him. They’ve both been on a high for so long, so this is uncharted territory for them. They’re not this golden couple who can wave a magic wand at anything and come out on top.”

Kelce has shot down rumours about his NFL retirement, although numerous sources had previously claimed that this would be his last season. The source said, “The last thing Travis wants is to go out on a bad season. Travis throws his heart and soul into every game.” He is yet to publicly address the rumours that he might have to retire after the team’s disappointing run this season.

The wedding plans are still in full swing, so that is one distraction Kelce can rely on. The insider explained, “Taylor is involving him in all the details. Overall, things are great between them, but like every couple, they’re learning to navigate the ups and downs.”
