In a video circulating online, she sported a black outfit, holding a cocktail glass and chit-chatting with other partygoers. The reason why Swift wasn’t a part of any award category at the big night is that her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, missed the Recording Academy’s eligibility window.

In a video circulating online, the ‘Reputation’ singer was spotted at the 2026 Grammys after-party after skipping the main event at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. She sported a long-sleeved black dress with a deep neckline, complementing it with straight hair and her signature red lipstick. She appeared to be sipping her cocktail as she conversed with the partygoers around her.
This year, Swift wasn’t nominated for any Grammy categories, as she didn’t release any music during the Recording Academy’s eligibility window. The window was open from August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025. As her twelfth album, The Life of a Showgirl, debuted on October 3, it missed the given deadline and will now be considered for 2027 nominations.
Last year, Swift was nominated in six categories, which were Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video, Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. However, she didn’t take home any Grammy awards at the time.
Swift recently also made headlines for her involvement in the Justin Baldoni-Blake Lively feud when her messages to Lively surfaced. The legal filing revealed that Swift criticized Baldoni. Her message to Lively read, “I think this b*tch knows something is coming because he’s gotten out his tiny violin.”
The filing claimed that Swift wasn’t unnecessarily dragged into the drama but was an active participant. She was allegedly aware of the penthouse meeting between Lively and Baldoni. It was evidenced by her text to Lively that read, “If Justin was strategic, he would be like no Taylor Swift in the trailer because that gives you more power over the film, that’s your ally, not his.”
