Why David & Victoria Beckham Aren’t ‘Going Negative Yet’ Amid Feud — Source

The Beckham family feud is getting louder in public, but David and Victoria Beckham are still reportedly controlling their response to their son, Brooklyn Beckham. While the couple’s eldest son has said he doesn’t want a reunion, sources close to the family insist his parents are not ready to fight — at least not for now — but doing so reportedly “hasn’t been easy.”

David and Victoria Beckham are ‘protecting Brooklyn and the brand’ amid feud, per source

In a new Substack post, Rob Shuter reported that David and Victoria Beckham have chosen a careful lack of direct engagement in their family feud involving son Brooklyn Beckham. Behind the scenes, though, it has been a different story. A family source claimed, “They’re not going negative — yet,” adding, “But trust me, they know everything about this kid. And it hasn’t been easy.”

The rumored tension has now allegedly escalated into an open fallout, with Brooklyn laying out his complaints publicly. Shuter’s report suggested that this isn’t only about Brooklyn’s marriage or the latest blow-up, with one source claiming, “No steady jobs, no real friends, constant entitlement. There’s been a lot of bad — very bad — behavior the family quietly covered up for years.”

Meanwhile, another insider bluntly claimed, “Brooklyn inherited money, access, and power he never earned. That changes a person — especially when no one ever says no.” Even so, the Beckhams appear to be playing defense, with a confidant suggesting, “They’re protecting him — and the brand,” and warning, “But don’t confuse silence with innocence.” David has only addressed the situation in broad terms. During an appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box, he said that “children are allowed to make mistakes,” adding that mistakes are how they learn.

As of now, though, David and Victoria do not seem to strike back against Brooklyn. With no public rift and no rebuttal, they are reportedly simply opting for restraint, and if Shuter’s sources are right, that restraint is only because they are still choosing not to publicize their side of the story.
