Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have always prioritized privacy, especially when it comes to their children. But now, the couple reportedly do not see eye to eye on the matter. This, in return, is allegedly causing tensions inside their household.
Markle recently shared multiple Instagram Stories featuring family moments with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet from an outing in California. However, Harry was reportedly not happy about the move.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s disagreements over privacy ‘reigniting tensions,’ says source
RadarOnline exclusively reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are having disagreements on the matter of privacy. The outlet noted that Markle’s Instagram Stories showed the kids swimming, visiting a zoo, and spending time outside, with some shots showing their faces and profiles. Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, also appeared in the Stories.
While the posts received warm reactions online, sources claimed that they caused a private disagreement between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over how much of their children’s lives should appear on social media.
A source claimed, “This issue has reignited tensions that Harry thought they had already worked through. From his point of view, it feels like they’re right back in conflict mode because Meghan continues to move forward exactly as she always has.”
The insider added, “Harry sees it as a familiar pattern of pushing boundaries and testing limits, particularly around how much of their children’s lives are shared.” They claimed, “For him, it isn’t just about a few posts, it’s about a deeper disagreement over privacy that he feels keeps resurfacing.”
Additionally, another source claimed, “Meghan genuinely views these posts as harmless and carefully managed snapshots of family life.” They added, “In her mind, she’s reclaiming the narrative by sharing moments selectively and on her own platform, rather than allowing tabloids or paparazzi to dictate what’s seen.”
However, Harry is reportedly “deeply uneasy about the idea that once their children’s faces start appearing online, even in fleeting or partial ways, there’s no real way to undo it or control how far that exposure might spread.”
The stakes feel especially personal. If these claims hold, the issue is whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can agree on what privacy looks like now.
