Jacob Elordi Reacts to Margot Robbie & Friends ‘Screaming’ During Screening

Jacob Elordi appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he shared his thoughts about the Victorian-themed fake bachelorette party thrown by Margot Robbie’s friends. The ‘Barbie’ actress earlier revealed she was dressed in white corsets and lace, while her fans channeled mob wives for the party. Calling the party night “the craziest” and “the most unhinged experience of her life,” she added that they had a couple of drinks and screamed every time Elordi’s character popped on screen.

During a conversation at Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the host recalled to Elordi the fun instance that Robbie shared about her private screening of Wuthering Heights with friends. He said, “She told a story about her friends who threw a bachelorette party for her character Cathy… and she said they were all — these 20 women — shrieking nonstop when they saw you on the screen. She even said that if you had been at this event, they would have eaten you.”

Laughing at the story, Elordi replied, “Yeah, I don’t know. What do you say to that?” Kimmel then shared his reaction to Robbie’s private screening, calling it a bit too “intense” and “scary.” Elordi admitted that Robbie and her friends are “intense” but believes that they are fun.

Wuthering Heights stars Robbie and Elordi as Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, respectively. The romantic-drama film is based on the 1847 novel of the same name by Emily Brontë. Directed by Emerald Fennell, it follows Heathcliff, who gradually falls in love with Catherine Earnshaw, which turns their lives upside down. It captures the passionate and destructive nature of their relationship, with the Yorkshire moors serving as a backdrop.

Apart from the two main leads, the cast also includes Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton, Alison Oliver as Isabella Linton, Martin Clunes as Mr. Earnshaw, and Ewan Mitchell as Joseph. The film will arrive in theaters on February 13, 2026.
