Sydney Sweeney’s ‘SYRN’ Earns Mixed Reaction: ‘Salad Dressing Startup’

After her viral Hollywood sign stunt to promote her new lingerie brand, Sydney Sweeney has announced SYRN on her Instagram profile. The Hollywood star, who continues to be a huge presence in the industry, has now entered the zone of business. However, the first look at her brand has received mixed reactions from fans.

Here’s how internet reacted to Sydney Sweeney’s SYRN

Sydney Sweeney has announced SYRN, her latest brand that makes lingerie for all, on an Instagram post shortly after her stunt of stringing the Hollywood sign with bras went viral. In the latest post, Sweeney can be seen posing in several of the products, perhaps one from each of the categories they plan to offer- seductress, romantic, playful, and comfy.

In the caption, she wrote, “The secret is finally out… say hello to @syrn. This is lingerie you wear for YOU, no explanation, no apology. SYRN is coming for you on 1.28 sign up now for early access at SYRN.com there’s soo much more. I can’t wait to show you.”

This post received many positive reactions, especially with fans cheering the Anyone But You actress on. “Omg congratulations!!!! Can’t wait to purchase some goodies,” one user wrote, while another wrote, “Screaming.”

However, the reaction was not equivalent in all spheres. In fact, many users did not seem to like the branding of SYRN and spoke about how it confused them. Posting a screenshot of the logo on X, @Emily_Sundberg wrote, “The logo for Sydney Sweeney’s lingerie line looks like it’s for a salad dressing company that launched in 2019.” Another user wrote, “Synthetic green juice manufacturer.” “The whole creative execution of the brand & project is disappointing imo. Could have been quite epic,” another user added.

The products from the brand are not yet out, so these reactions are based purely on the first impressions. Perhaps there could be a more unified or comprehensive reaction after the brand is launched.
