The feud between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, is back in the spotlight after an insider weighed in. The remarks follow Brooklyn’s statement about his marriage to actor Nicola Peltz in 2022 and the rift between him and his parents.
Last week, Brooklyn accused his parents of fueling the split. The Beckham family feud has become the headline. He also cited issues that occurred during the wedding, including his first dance being hijacked. Now, the couple’s former wedding planner is disputing the claim of friction.
Brooklyn Beckham labeled as ‘nice and gentle’ by wedding planner amid feud, per report
According to Page Six on January 27, 2026, Preston Bailey said he was “surprised” with the recent claims. Bailey said, “It surprises me that he is taking this stand against his parents.” He added, “That’s not the Brooklyn I met.” He called him a “nice, gentle guy.” Bailey also described him as “just a nice, regular person who would say hello and chit chat.”
Meanwhile, Bailey said his view comes from 11 months with the couple. He said, “I can tell you about my experience with Brooklyn.” The wedding planner added, “He was very much involved. I have always thought of him as a gentle, decent guy.” He insisted, “There was never any tension.”
Bailey also rejected claims that Nicola ran the show. He said the Peltz family “are lovely people.” He added, “These people are important to me.” Referring to Nicola, he said, “I don’t remember her being bossy.” Bailey continued, “I remember a lot of affection between them.” He further clarified that in the case of designs, “It was important for her to have Brooklyn approve it.” He added, “She wasn’t going to do anything without his approval.”
Later, Bailey said he was hired in April 2021 and stepped away 11 months later due to scheduling issues. The planning was mostly done over Zoom calls or at the Peltz’s place, which is why the wedding planner said he never dealt with David or Victoria. For now, the Beckham feud keeps pulling Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding back in.
