Kim Kardashian makes sudden appearance on North West’s Instagram Live
The 12-year-old recently live-streamed on Instagram on January 26, when her mother made an unexpected appearance.
North West was already on her live as Kim Kardashian was heard walking in and entering the frame. Just then, the former exclaimed, “Guys, I think my mom’s coming. Why are you watching my live?” To this, the SKIMS co-founder responded by laughing and asking her daughter to keep her off-camera (via E! News).
However, the most adorable moment had to be when West cheerfully told her followers that the ‘G.O.A.T’ was in the room. This moment was visibly shocking for Kardashian as she responded, saying, “Hey, you guys … I hope someone recorded that. She called me the G.O.A.T. I don’t know if I’ll ever get that again … Just kidding, I love you, Bubs.” Moreover, West even replied, “I love you too!”
Kardashian then stated, “How long are you going to do this for? Because I have to stay in the room.” Additionally, the most hilarious part of the live was when West asked her mother to just show her face so she could “make some money” through the livestream. Kardashian responded to her request, saying, “What?! No, no, no. You know I don’t like this. I’ll just pop in every once in a while.”
Nevertheless, The Kardashians star chose not to show her face on this live because she was “ready for bed.” Kim Kardashian also told North West that she has to “go to bed now,” too. This made it quite clear that while she encourages her daughter’s creative pursuits, she also likes to supervise her online presence.
Notably, Kim Kardashian recently addressed the scrutiny she faces regarding her parenting style with her daughter. In an episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, she told her sister Khloé Kardashian, “I think like the one misconception that people might have is like, ‘Oh, she’s trying to be her bestie and lets her get away with a lot.’ Like, no, Northy actually has a lot of rules. [That’s the] one area I do let her express herself.”
