The property has reportedly been the king’s “most personal residence.” Hence, the alleged decision to offer it to the Sussexes seemed to be an “enormous gesture.” “It signals trust, forgiveness, and a genuine desire to heal,” the insider added.
The Scottish estate, looked after by the royal family for decades, is said to be the monarch’s home. It is the place where the royal clan has reportedly been celebrating “unguarded” and private family time. However, the king’s alleged proposal would not mean that he would make it Harry and Markle’s new home.
