King Charles Offering ‘Enormous’ Olive Branch to Son & Wife — Source

King Charles has reportedly been trying to offer an olive branch to his son, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle. Sources revealed that the monarch might open his private sanctuary, Balmoral Castle, for his second kid. As per a recent report, he would allegedly like to make this “enormous gesture,” planning to mend the estranged relationship. However, Prince William could allegedly be against the idea.

King Charles might reconcile with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sooner than expected. Recently, a source told Rob Shuter that the King would open the gates of Balmoral Castle for his second son and his wife.  The property has reportedly been the king’s “most personal residence.” Hence, the alleged decision to offer it to the Sussexes seemed to be an “enormous gesture.” “It signals trust, forgiveness, and a genuine desire to heal,” the insider added.

The Scottish estate, looked after by the royal family for decades, is said to be the monarch’s home. It is the place where the royal clan has reportedly been celebrating “unguarded” and private family time. However, the king’s alleged proposal would not mean that he would make it Harry and Markle’s new home.

According to the source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could reportedly stay at Balmoral Castle whenever they visit the UK. This carefully planned invitation seemingly hinted at a possible reconciliation between Harry and his royal family.

However, as per another insider, Prince William could reportedly oppose it “strongly.” “He believes it’s too much, too soon, and fears it could reopen wounds that have barely begun to heal,” they claimed.

Earlier, reports suggested that the “Spare” author would want to reunite with his father, especially because of his kids. Meanwhile, the 77-year-old, too, would allegedly like the same as he would like to meet his grandchildren, Prince Archie (6) and Princess Lilibet (4).
