Ali Larter has recently admitted that her toughest scenes in “Landman” had nothing to do with risky stunts or long shooting days. In a candid interview with PEOPLE, she opened up about why filming bikini scenes is “the hardest” for her.

In “Landman”, Ali Larter portrays Angela Norris, Tommy Norris’s wife. More often than not, Angela shows off her toned figure in a body-skimming outfit or a bikini. While Larter has done an amazing job at showing that side of Angela, she admitted about not enjoying doing those scenes.
In the interview with PEOPLE, Larter said, “I don’t think there’s an actress alive that’s like, ‘Woo! Got a bikini scene!’ Nobody wants to do it. Those are the hardest for me. I don’t enjoy them. It’s just part of the story that I’m telling, and I’m an actress, so I get on board. But those are definitely my least favorite.”
The “Legally Blonde” alum acknowledged that Angela is a character who is “so physical and loves the spray tans, and the blonde”, which results in the actress doing a lot of work on herself to stay in shape, and “all that comes with it.”
“But no matter what, it’s like, I’ve got to spend all this time fighting off my own insecurities, my own anxiety, to be able to put on that bikini and walk into these scenes,” Larter added. Angela’s daughter, Ainsley Norris, also wears plenty of bikinis in the series.
In an interview with PEOPLE in November 2025, the 49-year-old divulged that her favourite scenes in “Landman” do not involve revealing clothes at all. She said, “My favorite is when I get to have a real, honest quiet exchange between Tommy and Angela. I just love that. And I love the old folks!”
