During the outing, Andrew reportedly rode ahead on horseback while Beatrice walked alongside her daughter, who was on a horse as well. The group is said to have spent more than 45 minutes enjoying the grounds surrounding the castle. The visit was low-key and family-focused. The trio was spotted spending time at the Royal Mews before heading into Home Park, against the backdrop of Windsor Castle.
Sources also believe Beatrice later spent time at Royal Lodge, the Windsor estate Andrew is expected to vacate in the coming weeks. The appearance marks a contrast to recent reports that Beatrice distanced herself over the holidays. She notably skipped Christmas at Royal Lodge. Instead, she spent the festive period at Sandringham with King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
There are reportedly only weeks left before Andrew leaves Royal Lodge altogether. He is expected to relocate to Norfolk, beginning what has been described as a period of exile from royal life after handing back his lease on the Windsor property. Last week, he was seen visiting Marsh Farm in Norfolk to assess renovation work. Before his 66th birthday next month, the former prince is expected to arrange his stay at nearby Wood Farm Cottage.
Beatrice’s visible show of support comes amid claims that her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, has allegedly cut off contact with their father. However, a friend strongly disputed that narrative. “It is completely untrue that she has cut him off,” the source claimed. “She has seen him several times this year and is supportive.
