According to a source, the two musical sensations went their separate ways due to Rihanna’s alleged betrayal by being friends with Jason Lee, the founder of the controversial celebrity gossip site Hollywood Unlocked, which was “hugely disloyal” for Beyonce. For the “Lemonade” singer, trust is the most valuable thing in a relationship, which RiRi reportedly broke by being friends in Lee.
“Beyoncé is very into loyalty. If you’re loyal to her, she’ll be loyal to you – to the death. But betray her once and she’s done. Somewhere along the way, Ri lost that,” the source told RadarOnline. As per the source, Lee has made hurtful comments about Queen Bey and her rapper husband, Jay-Z, claiming on his podcast that he knows some secrets about the couple.
Moreover, the insider alleged that Lee “doesn’t say anything concrete about them that can be denied.” Instead, the host “just insinuates that he has dirt on them, which is even more shady.” Nevertheless, due to this, Beyonce and Rihanna “are still very icy towards each other and would prefer not to be in the same room.”
However, it seems now things can get better between RiRi and Queen Bey. Their partners, A$AP Rocky and Jay-Z, have “decided they’re going to force some peace talks.” As per the source, to rebuild their rapport, Rocky has to get “Rihanna to apologize and dump Lee as a friend,” while “Jay’s job is just to soften Beyonce, so she’s receptive to the apology.”
