The scoop comes from industry insider @MyTimeToShineHello on X (formerly Twitter), who posted, “Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man fighting the X-Men and particularly Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is the opening scene of Avengers Doomsday.”
The film is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026. According to the same source, Maguire shares screen time with Jackman’s Wolverine. The same insider described the movie as having an opening scene that “tops any previous Avengers movie” and called the final battle “INSANE.”
