Nicki Minaj Avoids $20M Mansion From Being Sold Off

Reportedly, Nicki Minaj has managed to stop the sale of her $20 million mansion after being ordered to pay a court-ordered judgment to security guard Thomas Weidenmuller. A lawsuit was filed against Minaj and her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, by the guard over an alleged assault that occurred during her Nicki World Tour show in Germany in 2019. As the couple failed to respond to the lawsuit, the court issued a default judgment of $503,000 against them.

The Rolling Stone reported that Minaj managed to avoid the forced sale of her $20 million mansion to pay the default judgment of $503,000 to the security guard, who sued them for the assault case. On January 22, a judge was set to order the sale of the property. However, while arriving at the court, Weidenmuller’s lawyer, Paul Saso, revealed that it was not required. He revealed that the rapper has agreed to pay the sum at the “eleventh hour.”

Saso said, “In an eleventh-hour development, the judgment debtors have satisfied the judgment.” He also said his client was satisfied with the decision and relieved to have finally received justice. The lawyer further added, “He [Weidenmuller] suffered a very heinous attack years ago, and not only did it take years to achieve the judgment, but it then took nearly two years to enforce that judgment.”

He also reflected further on Minaj‘s latest behavior online, adding that she had demeaned various people. However, he’s happy that this case has led her to a positive path, saying, “She’s certainly been very vocal about her thoughts on the gay and trans community, and I’m happy that this case has helped her transition — transition from a person who avoids responsibility to a person who is being forced to take responsibility. And my hope is that it helps her transition from a person of violence to a person of peace.”

Nicki Minaj recently made headlines for calling out Don Lemon on X (formerly Twitter) for one of his reports over the ICE protests. In the tweet, she used a homophobic slur to refer to him, which didn’t sit well with Lemon, who later hit back at her.
