Warrior is leaving Netflix in February
According to an early look at Netflix’s February 2026 removals, Warrior will leave the service on February 16, 2026 (via What’s on Netflix). The exit includes all three seasons, making this a full removal rather than a partial one. The same date also lists Ouija (2014) and The A-Team (2010) among the titles leaving Netflix.
Originally premiering on Cinemax on April 5, 2019, Warrior is based on an original concept by Bruce Lee and is executive-produced by his daughter, Shannon Lee, alongside director Justin Lin. Jonathan Tropper was the showrunner.
The show, set during the Tong Wars of late-1870s San Francisco, centers around Ah Sahm, a Chinese martial arts prodigy who immigrates to America searching for his sister. Instead, he is sold into servitude to one of Chinatown’s most powerful tongs. The story blends brutal fight choreography with political maneuvering, gang rivalries, and social tensions.
Furthermore, the relevance of Bruce Lee’s Warrior extends beyond action. The series explores themes of survival, exploitation, and belonging. As Tropper put it, “[I]ncredible action requires no translation” (via Netflix). Shannon Lee had also emphasized that while martial arts drive the spectacle, the emotional arcs, relationships, and social commentary give the show lasting weight.
Creator Jonathan Tropper once compared the series to Gangs of New York and Game of Thrones while talking to Tudum, speaking about its focus on “political jockeying, warring families, and a large cast of characters inhabiting different worlds.”
All three seasons of Warrior are currently streaming on Netflix, but only until February 16, 2026.
