President Donald Trump recently appeared on a live TV press conference, where he almost caused a big accident. While speaking to reporters at the White House during a briefing televised by CNN, the President unveiled a “book on accomplishments” his team has allegedly achieved during the first year of his second term in office.

While showing this “book of achievements,” Trump nearly cut his finger on a large binder clip that was holding the document together. As a loud noise was heard, Trump removed his finger from the spot and said, “Ooh, I’m glad my finger wasn’t in that sucker. That could’ve done some damage (via EW).”

He continued assuring the reporters, “You know what? I wouldn’t have shown the pain.”

The 79-year-old President continued to linger on the topic. “Did you hear that?” he asked the room before calling the snap “nasty.” He added, “But, I would not have shown the pain. I would’ve acted like nothing happened as my finger fell off. That was nasty. I think somebody did that.” He eventually went on to throw the clip away from the podium.

After this, the President returned to the topic of the large document. He added, “Each line is something that we did. Nobody did that before. It’s big stuff, too.” He went on to call the USA “the hottest country in the world,” before tossing the papers to the ground. This gesture made the reporters laugh.

Meanwhile, Trump remains at the center of several big matters across the world, including the Greenland issue.
