Jennifer Aniston is embarking on a new chapter in her personal life, and sources indicate that her relationship with boyfriend Jim Curtis has played a central role in the shift. According to a longtime friend, Curtis has encouraged the 56-year-old actress to step outside the carefully constructed routine she had settled into over recent years.
Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis helped her ‘get out of her rut,’ per source
“It’s only taken a few months, but Jim has completely turned Jen’s world upside down,” the source claims. “He’s really forced her to confront the fact that for the last several years, where making The Morning Show was the central obsession of her life, Jen has put herself into a bubble, limited her own horizons and very much became a creature of routine.”
Curtis, who runs the sold-out virtual course Awaken & Align, reportedly recognizes the signs of feeling stuck, and sources say he helped Aniston confront that reality. “He’s managed to get Jen out of her rut and is actually open to new experiences,” the insider says. “The big thing for both of them has been travel, spending more time on the East Coast, and not just relying on Jen’s go-to Mexican vacation hideouts when they need a break.”
One of the biggest changes involves travel. Sources say the couple has lined up several international trips in the year ahead, moving beyond Aniston’s usual Mexican getaway spots. The pair reportedly plans to spend more time on the East Coast and has Greece on the itinerary. “Jen can’t wait to soak up that whole world in with him,” the source adds.
Curtis has also taken a more hands-on role in their day-to-day life together. Sources claim he often handles logistics like driving and security during low-key getaways to places such as New York or Santa Barbara, allowing Aniston to relax more fully. “Jim’s gotten her to let her guard down and be more open to the kind of adventures she can have when she does,” the insider says.
