The UK should prepare for a possible financial instability if the US confirms alien life, warned a former policy expert.
Helen McCaw, a former senior analyst in financial security at the Bank of England, has written to Governor Andrew Bailey. She has urged the institution to establish contingency plans just in case the White House confirms the existence of aliens. McCaw cited the US government’s ongoing declassification process related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) as a key factor in her warning.
“If the UAP proves to be of non-human origin, we may have to acknowledge the existence of a power or intelligence greater than any government and with potentially unknown intentions”, McCaw reportedly said.
In her letter, the senior analyst warns that such an announcement could trigger widespread market volatility, bank collapses, and a history of significant price fluctuations. McCaw has highlighted potential scenarios, including a rush towards traditional safe-haven assets like gold or government bonds. She also hinted at the possibility of these assets losing their status and value if space-faring technologies emerge.
A recent UFO documentary, “The Age of Disclosure”, features interviews of 34 US government insiders from the military and intelligence community officials. The common topic of their interviews was an “80-year global cover-up of non-human intelligent life and a secret war among major nations to reverse-engineer advanced technology of non-human origin”, as per the film’s description.
The director, Dan Farah, interviewed various sources, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, to discuss the government’s efforts regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
In his response, Mark Rubio had said, “We’ve had repeated instances of something operating in the airspace over restricted nuclear facilities, and it’s not ours.”
