Season 3 of the critically acclaimed show, School Spirits, is all set to arrive on Paramount+, and its release date has been revealed. Created by Megan and Nate Trinrud, the supernatural drama series made its debut on the streaming platform in March 2023. It features a talented cast, including actors like Milo Manheim, Peyton List, Kristian Ventura, Spencer MacPherson, and many more.
Paramount+ To End January With Season 3 of Hit Supernatural Drama
Season 3 of the supernatural drama School Spirits is coming to Paramount+, and its release date is January 28, 2026.
The show, which has generated a loyal fanbase since its premiere, will drop with one episode and then will follow a weekly release schedule. Apart from Peyton List and Milo Manheim, stars who are returning for the season are Nick Pugliese, Kiara Pichardo, Spencer MacPherson, Rainbow Wedell, and many more.
The trailer for the show was released on YouTube on January 8, 2026. As per the description, “Maddie Nears (Peyton List) and her friends dive into a deeper, darker mystery as the veil between worlds grows dangerously thin, delivering twists that challenge everything they thought they knew. After clawing her way back to life, Maddie struggles with terrifying visions and the weight of protecting both the living and the dead while Simon – trapped in the afterlife – becomes obsessed with the secrets buried in Split River High’s scars. Why have so many people died at Split River High? What was Mr. Martin warning them about? As they search for answers, new dangers and dark secrets begin to surface.”
Notably, School Spirits Season 1 had a Tomatometer score of 83 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and a Popcornmeter score of 89 percent. Meanwhile, Season 2 earned a perfect 100 percent score on Tomatometer and 91 percent on Popcornmeter.
Co-creator Nate Trinud spoke to Screen Rant recently and shared the scope for Season 3. He said, “It’s dark. This is certainly a season that’s going to dip a little bit more into some of the horror elements. I think we’re really diving into the psyches of both the ghosts we’ve met and some we haven’t.”
