Travis Kelce Making Major ‘NFL’ Plans Amid Retirement Rumors — Source

A source claims that Travis Kelce has been in talks with major networks and streaming services for the past few years. However, it clarifies that these discussions have nothing to do with his NFL future and will not influence his final retirement decision. Kelce’s NFL contract expired this season, and a decision regarding the future of his playing career remains pending.

Travis Kelce’s next move revealed by sources

A source told PEOPLE that Kelce has been in discussions with major networks and streaming services for the last couple of years, and it’s unrelated to his decision about his NFL tenure. The source said, “Travis has been in discussions with every major streaming service, including Netflix, and every major network for the past several years.” They further added, “And that is not affecting his decision whether or not he is returning to football because those discussions have been happening for the past several years.”

In the episode of his New Heights podcast, Kelce spoke about how he’s dealing with the aftermath of the season and what he has thought about his NFL future. He said, “Every season ends for me, I just put my feet up, and I just be a human,” he said. “Just being a regular human for a couple weeks, maybe a month or so, just trying to figure out what I’m going to do next in terms of my future in football.” He also revealed that he has been involved in exit meetings, and everyone knows where he stands currently.

Kelce assured that his spark for football is still very much alive, but emphasized that everything will ultimately depend on his physical condition. “There’s a lot of love for the game that’s still there, and I don’t think I’ll ever lose that. It’s a tough thing to navigate, but at the same time, if my body can heal up and rest up, and I can feel confident that I can go out there and give it another 18, 20, 21-week run, I think I would do it in a heartbeat.”
