Dax Shepard’s anecdote with her daughter Delta has recently caught attention. He opened up about his preteen kid’s desire to become a mom in the latest episode of his podcast, “Armchair Expert.” “She’s saying she wants to have a baby, and I said, ‘When do you think you’ll have your first child? When you turn 18?’ I want to be supportive of whatever,” the Hollywood actor said.
He mentioned that he didn’t want to sound “judgmental” and wanted to support his 11-year-old’s opinions. “I said, ‘If you want to, we’ll freeze your eggs when you’re 18. I’ll pay for you to get your eggs frozen so you don’t have to think about that,’” he offered. Adding to that, the 51-year-old acknowledged the “luck and privilege” and that not every woman could opt for the same option.
However, Delta didn’t seem to be interested in becoming a mother at the age of 18. So, Shepard guessed she might be thinking of taking the step when she would turn 35 or 45. But, according to the preteen daughter, her father’s suggested ages were “too old.” “Again, she’s 11, so that probably seems like 80. She’s thinking mid-20s,” he added.

For those unversed, Shepard has been married to Hollywood actress Kristen Bell since 2013. They share two daughters — Lincoln (12) and Delta (11).
