Sue Storm & [Spoiler] Have a Lot of Scenes in Avengers: Doomsday — Report

A new Avengers: Doomsday rumor related to Namor has surfaced. The rumor suggests that he will share a lot of scenes in the film with a character he is strongly linked to in the comics. Notably, Namor and this character are key players in the film’s overarching plot, which focuses on multiple heroes going up against Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.), who is poised to be a huge threat to the multiverse.

Sue Storm and Namor could share many scenes in Avengers: Doomsday

A new rumor suggests that Tenoch Huerta Mejía’s Namor and Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm/Invisible Woman will share multiple scenes in Avengers: Doomsday.

This rumor comes from a notable scooper, MyTimetoShineHello. They wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “In Avengers Doomsday, Namor and Sue share a lot of scenes together in the desert you see in the 4th teaser.”

As detailed in the rumored description of the upcoming film’s fourth teaser, Namor and the Talokans, as well as Shuri, M’Baku, and the Wakandans, are in the desert, where they are joined by Ben Grimm (the Thing), who interacts with M’Baku. Due to the Thing’s appearance in the desert and interaction with M’Baku, it’s reasonable to assume that Namor and everyone else will meet the Fantastic Four — which obviously includes Sue — in the film.

However, this is currently only a rumor, and fans will have to wait until the film releases to find out if Sue and Namor do indeed have multiple scenes together.

Notably, in the comics, Namor and Sue Storm have a complicated romantic interest in one another, which has caused tension with Sue’s husband, Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic). While Namor frequently expresses his desire and intent to be with Sue, she is more reluctant, despite acknowledging her own attraction to him, to pursue a relationship due to her loyalty to her husband and family.

If Sue and Namor do end up having multiple scenes in Doomsday, they could be used to set up a romantic dynamic, which could be explored in Fantastic Four 2.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18, 2026. Anthony and Joe Russo are directing the film from Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron’s screenplay.
