Michael B. Jordan and Amanda Seyfried’s All My Children reunion at the ongoing Palm Springs International Film Awards red carpet saw them reflecting on their journey from soap operas to movies. The co-stars shared some lovely thoughts about their time working together on the show.

For those unaware, Seyfried played Joni Stafford and Jordan portrayed Reggie Porter Montgomery in the Daytime Emmy-winning series. The then-teens’ shared plotline involved meeting during community service, which later led to a brief, sweet romance.

Michael B. Jordan raved about the Mean Girls actress during a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight. “What is it like to see someone from the early start of your career get their flowers at the same time as you’re getting yours?” the interviewer asked.

In his response, the 38-year-old actor said, “Proud. Like I’m really proud. I saw the pictures of both of us from back then, so now, oh man, wow! Makes you feel really, really old but really, really grateful that we’ve been working consistently.”

“I know how hard it is to make a career out of this, and to see her grow and become a phenomenal actress, I am nothing but happy and excited for her,” Jordan added.

Amanda Seyfried seemed to be mirroring Michael B. Jordan’s thoughts during her interview with ET. “I remember thinking how incredible and how present he was in the scenes. It felt so natural and I really, really enjoyed working with him at such a young age, and I feel there was some synergy there”, reflected the Mamma Mia actress.

Amanda Seyfried was honored with the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her performance in The Testament of Ann Lee, while Michael B. Jordon took home the Icon Award.
