Jennifer Lopez Makes Subtle Jab About Ben Affleck Marriage at Vegas Show

It looks like there is still some trouble in paradise. Just last month, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reportedly reunited for some holiday shopping. However, the singer recently appeared to take a subtle jibe at her marriage during the opening night of her Las Vegas residency. Lopez delivered a phenomenal performance at her “Up All Night Live” show, and during one moment, she expressed gratitude to her fans while dropping a subtle shade about her marriage to Ben Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez’s sly dig about Ben Affleck marriage comes days after reunion

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relationship was quite a tumultuous one. The pair had an on-and-off relationship over the years, with them finally ending their marriage in 2025. Lopez and Affleck reportedly reunited last month and were seen in Los Angeles doing some holiday shopping.

Days after they reunited, the “If You Had My Love” hitmaker took a swipe at her ex-husband during the opening night of her “Up All Night” residency in Las Vegas. A video shared by @JLopezUpdate2 on X (formerly Twitter) shows the singer taking a short break between song performances and using the moment to thank the audience.

In the video, Lopez can be seen panting softly as she thanked her fans, who have always stood by her side. She said, “It went by in a blink, didn’t it, for those of you who were there on opening night ten years ago?” referring to the support shown by her fans for a decade. As she said this, the fans cheered. Then, without taking any names, she went on to say, “And, you know, at that time I’d only been married twice.” Fans responded with cheers and applause as she said this.

She, too, smiled and instantly corrected herself, saying, “’That’s not true, it was only once.” Then, she took a brief pause and continued, “It felt like twice.” Lopez, 56, laughed and said, “I’m just kidding!”

As the crowd cheered, she exclaimed, “It’s over, and I just — boom — we’re fine,” as she delivered a sweeping kick, timed perfectly to a bass drum and cymbal hit from her drummer. The singer then said, “It’s all good.”

She continued, saying that the “good news” was that she was “learning and growing” and that it’s a “happy era now.”
