Travis Kelce made a hilarious confession on the recent New Year’s Eve episode of the New Heights podcast. During the show’s “No Dumb Questions” segment, he revealed that he would rather undergo Brazilian waxing than rewatch his 2016 dating show, Catching Kelce.
Travis Kelce talks about getting waxed rather than watching this show
At one point during the December 31 episode of New Heights, Jason Kelce asked his brother Travis, “Would you rather be forced and tortured watching Catching Kelce on a loop for the rest of your life, or get Brazilian waxed?” The Chiefs’ tight end responded without hesitation, saying, “I’d rather get Brazilian waxed. Are you kidding me?”
Travis added that he is ready to remove all the hair from his private parts as well, rather than sit through his reality TV venture. “Yeah, I’d rather just get my gooch waxed,” he admitted.
Travis Kelce starred in the E! Entertainment Television dating show Catching Kelce in January 2016. He has previously expressed regret about appearing in the seven-episode series. Speaking on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast in July, Travis said, “The worst thing I ever did was the dating show. Catching Kelce was the worst f–king thing I ever did.”
He further explained, “I didn’t realize what reality TV really was. I don’t even think anybody watched it. It was just 50 women from 50 states.” While filming the show, the Chiefs star realized that it might not have been the best idea. “I was like, ‘Oh, s–t. Everybody is going to be able to see this forever.’ I was like, ‘Goddamn it,'” he stated.
Travis Kelce has since found love off the camera. The NFL star began dating global pop icon Taylor Swift in 2023. The couple announced their engagement via a joint Instagram post in August 2025, with the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Needless to say, fans are now eagerly awaiting their upcoming grand nuptials.
