Ex-Prince Andrew‘s eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, has reportedly planned to celebrate Christmas abroad, away from her father, following his past scandals. The Princess allegedly received two invitations this holiday season, one of which was from her parents, as they will have their last Christmas at Windsor mansion, before leaving it.

In the meantime, another invitation for the Princess was reportedly to be with King Charles and other royal family members at Sandringham. However, she has reportedly decided not to be a part of either of these two plans and instead decided to go skiing.

Princess Beatrice reportedly felt “torn” between her loyalty to her father and King Charles, after the former Prince’s past scandal. As reported by The Sun, both the Princess’s parents and the monarch invited her to spend Christmas with them, which left her in a dilemma. As per the news outlet, a source told them that Princess Beatrice “doesn’t want to cause any embarrassment and was torn between loyalty to the King and her parents.”

In the meantime, the insider further claimed, “That is why with Eugenie they went to Buckingham Palace for the pre-Christmas family lunch.” The person continued, “She appreciates the way that the King and William have looked after her.” They added, “during everything that has been happening with Andy and Sarah.” The source then explained, “She didn’t want it to look like they were snubbing anyone.” The person added, “So it was easier to go off with friends,” referring to Princess Beatrice’s decision to go skiing with her husband, Edo Mapelli Mozzi and friends.

Meanwhile, the news outlet further reported that Princess Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, has been going through a similar dilemma. However, her plans for Christmas are unknown as of now.
