Why Victoria & David Beckham Are Making Family Feud Worse — Source

The holiday season usually brings a family together, but David and Victoria Beckham’s feud with son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz tells another story. Besides, the couple’s attempts to reconcile with their eldest son are reportedly pushing him further away. While they hope to mend the long rift, sources claim their current strategy is fundamentally flawed and potentially making the situation even worse than before.

Victoria and David Beckham ‘trying to create a gap’ between Brooklyn and his wife, per source

The Daily Mail reported that David and Victoria Beckham have stopped trying to fix their relationship with their daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz, and are focusing entirely on showing love to Brooklyn in hopes of ending the family feud. However, insiders warned that trying to separate their son from his wife is a mistake. A source told the outlet, “Trying to create a gap between Brooklyn and Nicola is only going to drive him further away. It is going full speed in totally the wrong direction.”

Moreover, the insider claimed that the young couple remains “totally in step and as strong as ever,” while Nicola feels hurt by the family conflict. The Beckhams have made public gestures recently, with Victoria posting a video showing a Christmas stocking for Brooklyn, and his brother Cruz posting a photo of him. Yet, the source insists these moves are not enough.

As such, the source explained, “The Beckhams can’t just declare that the problem is over, via some social media posts.” They added, “You can’t just decide that it’s time to make up, without any apology or commitment to making a change.”

The family feud is reportedly painful for David and Victoria Beckham, especially after Brooklyn missed significant recent events. Speaking to The Sun, another insider claimed, “His absence has really taken a toll on the special days – the knighthood – and now Christmas.”

They added, “It’s like the ghost of Brooklyn is hanging over their Christmas and New Year’s.” While the family wants to “put the past behind them and start 2026 afresh,” their decision to bypass Nicola suggests the feud is not over.
