Justin Bieber’s Baby has returned to the trending list once again, 15 years after the song’s release. The track became a teen sensation largely because of its enticing music video featuring Bieber dancing for his “baby” in a bowling club. Recently, Bieber revisited the location to recollect his fond memories and shared the video on Instagram. It doused a large chunk of fans in a pool of nostalgia.
Justin Bieber spotted at bowling alley from his music video
The music video for Baby was filmed at two locations: Universal CityWalk in Hollywood and Lucky Strike Lanes in Los Angeles, California. While several parts of the video featured Bieber in the Universal CityWalk, the bowling club where he met his sweetheart was Lucky Strike Lanes.
This time, Bieber visited the place without the lights, cameras, and other arrangements. His video showcased that the facility is no longer operational and has also lost its luster. The wooden base of one of the bowling alley channels had uprooted from the floor due to a lack of maintenance.
However, none of that stopped Bieber from letting a few lines of Baby echo through the ruptured, abandoned facility. The first slide of his Instagram video featured him singing the song from the “cause I’m losin’ you” lines in the second verse till the “always be mine” chorus.
Bieber’s entourage repeated the chorus in the second slide while he matched the beatboxing beats with a few brisk dance steps. The Boyfriend singer donned a casual look for the outing, in a grey oversized t-shirt, bejeweled baggy shorts, and a beanie.
The person from Bieber’s gang who shot the video attempted to mimic Ludacris’ lines in “Baby.” However, after a few words, he realized he hadn’t gotten the lyrics by heart. The 31-year-old’s fans flooded the comments section with nostalgic and crying face emojis. Bieber’s post has already fetched over a million likes as well.
