An insider claims that Hugh Jackman‘s girlfriend, Sutton Foster, keeps a close eye on him when he’s around other co-stars. It’s known that Sutton is protective of her relationship with Jackman and doesn’t trust him with those he works with. The duo’s paths initially crossed in their mutual Broadway circle in 2008, but they reportedly confirmed their relationship earlier this year.

An insider shared an update to Radar Online on Kate Hudson’s behavior towards Jackman, which has likely concerned Foster. They revealed, “Kate is flirty by nature. She’s warm, touchy. People get swept up.” It’s also known that even Jackson responds to her quickly. A theater source further added, “She’s [Sutton] protective of her relationship with Hugh.”
Additionally, the source claimed that Sutton and Jackman have grown closer during the Broadway run, but the former is well aware that he isn’t reliable around his colleagues. “She knows better than anyone that he can’t always be trusted around the people he works with,” the source added.
In November 2024, sources told US Weekly that Foster and Jackman are dating. The source revealed that they dine at New York restaurants, take strolls in Central Park, and support each other’s careers. At the time, they claimed, “They’re happier than ever.” Additionally, it was stated that Foster admired Jackman for his “kindness, professionalism, and ability to make others feel valued,” while he appreciated her for her “immense talent, infectious positivity, and grounded nature.”
Their romance rumors seemingly solidified when Jackman attended Foster’s final week’s performance of Once Upon a Mattress in January 2025. Days later, they also appeared holding hands, further confirming the rumors. In November 2025, Jackman also hard-launched Foster on his Instagram handle by posting a video of her musical performance in NYC. He captioned it, “@suttonlenore performing during the holidays at @cafecarlyle … now that’s an iconic NYC night! And, truly magical.”
