Timothée Chalamet Sparks EsDeeKid Rumors: ‘All Will Be Revealed’

Timothée Chalamet has taken on many transformative roles over the years, but could he secretly be the underground British rapper EsDeeKid? Fans have spent months speculating about the mysterious musician’s identity, and the actor’s latest comments have only added fuel to the fire.

Timothée Chalamet responds to EsDeeKid rumors

Timothée Chalamet finally addressed the EsDeeKid chatter during a December 11 interview at the British radio show Heart Breakfast, where the hosts asked him outright whether he was the masked rapper. The Marty Supreme star didn’t deny it directly but instead offered a cryptic tease that sent the internet into a frenzy. “I got no comment on that. No, I mean, I got no comment,” he said.

The hosts then pointed out that EsDeeKid and Chalamet share similar eyes and had even been spotted wearing the same skull-patterned scarf. Chalamet leaned into the elusiveness once again. “I’ve got two words on that,” he began, stumbling slightly before quipping. “Two words: All will be revealed in due time. That was a little more than two words.”

His playful answer immediately reignited speculation online. Fans have long suspected that Chalamet and the elusive rapper might be the same person, especially since EsDeeKid performs with his face covered and has kept his identity completely hidden. Their matching accessories, vocal similarities, and public appearances have only pushed the theory further.

This isn’t the first hint Chalamet has dropped. Earlier this year, he attended a Fakemink show in London, an artist who features on EsDeeKid’s track “LV Sandals,” further stoking fan curiosity. Additionally, Chalamet even joked about his real-life past as a high school rapper known as Lil Timmy Tim. Fans have seen a persona from a 2012 viral video in which he performed at his New York City school. “Let me tell you, Lil Timmy does not have the same ring to it,” he quipped.

The man of the hour is EsDeeKid, who performs in a balaclava, claims Liverpool origins, and released a debut album, Rebel, in June, amassing over 11 million monthly Spotify listeners. His true identity is unconfirmed.
