The magazine recently published its annual list of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women, naming the singer as one of “The World’s Most Powerful Women,” and Taylor Swift is at the 21st position. As per Forbes, the “2025 ranking evaluates leaders across four pillars of power—money, media, impact, and spheres of influence, and six sectors: business, technology, finance, media & entertainment, politics & policy, and philanthropy.”

The pop icon has been ranked #21 on the list, making her the highest-ranked woman in the Media & Entertainment category. As per the outlet, the 35-year-old “Love Story” singer’s estimated net worth is $1.6 billion after she became a billionaire in October 2023, due to her “earnings from her Eras Tour and the value of her music catalogue.” Moreover, since reacquiring the rights to her master recordings, the value has increased multiple times.

Speaking about the ranking, Maggie McGrath, editor of ForbesWomen, said, “Power today isn’t confined to any one sector or title, and this year’s list makes that undeniable.”

She further added that “cultural innovators like the women behind ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ have energized the cultural zeitgeist and mobilized a global audience.”

“These leaders remind us that influence in 2025 moves across borders, industries, and platforms — and women are driving that momentum everywhere,” she noted.

This year’s list also includes 11 other billionaires, with MacKenzie Scott at #11. Abigail Johnson, Gina Rinehart, Melinda French Gates, and Laurene Powell Jobs also made it to the list, along with Melanie Perkins, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Judith Faulkner, Solina Chau Hoi Shuen, Kim Kardashian, Lisa Su, Daniela Amodei, and Jayshree Ullal.
