Popular Netflix Thriller Series Sets Release Date Window for Part 4

Netflix has officially confirmed Lupin Part 4’s release date window. The update comes more than two years after the last season aired and became one of the most popular French espionage series.

Netflix has announced that Lupin Part 4 will release in fall 2026, bringing Omar Sy back as Assane Diop in the next installment of the global phenomenon. The update came just after production wrapped in September 2025, accompanied by a new poster featuring Assane reflected in a puddle on the streets of France. While the artwork reveals little about the story, it does hint at the return of the sleek, high-stakes tension that has defined the series since its debut.

Lupin Part 4 will likely follow the aftermath of Part 3’s dramatic cliffhangers. Assane stole the Black Pearl, managed to fake his death, and saved his estranged mother before ultimately turning himself in to protect his family. The season ended with Assane in prison but with unfinished business and mounting enemies still in play.

The upcoming season will reunite the OG cast members, including Ludivine Sagnier, Shirine Boutella, Antoine Gouy, Théo Christine, and Soufiane Guerrab. As in previous installments, the story continues to draw inspiration from Arsène Lupin, with creators George Kay and François Uzan returning. Furthermore, Marie Roussin, Florent Meyer, and Tigran Rosine also serve as co-creators. Sy and Louis Leterrier will again be the showrunners.

Since its launch, Lupin has become one of Netflix’s most successful non-English-language titles. Part 1 alone reached an estimated 70 million households in its first month and became one of the French-language series to hit No. 1 in several major markets, including the U.S. Now, with the Lupin Part 4 officially releasing soon, fans can revisit Parts 1 to 3 as they wait for Assane Diop’s long-anticipated comeback.
