Justin Timberlake ‘Doing Okay’ Amid Lyme Disease Battle — Report

Justin Timberlake is taking a break to put his health first after a whirlwind couple of years on the road and a tough Lyme disease diagnosis. Back in July, he opened up about the illness, which explains the fatigue and nerve pain he’s been battling during shows. Insiders say JT is “doing okay” and is fully focused on recovery.

Justin Timberlake’s health update shared by his wife’s source

Justin Timberlake, 44, is putting his health first after grinding through the intense Forget Tomorrow World Tour and dealing with a Lyme disease diagnosis. A source told PEOPLE, “Justin seems to be doing okay. He’s prioritizing his health after the grueling tour and Lyme disease diagnosis.” The insider added that his wife, Jessica Biel, is right by his side. She “wants him healthy” as they tackle his recovery together.

Justin Timberlake shared the news about his Lyme disease right after wrapping his tour, saying it drained him both mentally and physically. He said the nerve pain, exhaustion, and sickness he’d been battling finally made sense. Even with all that, he powered through his shows, admitting that performing brings him so much joy, way more than the stress his body was feeling.

Justin Timberlake opened up about his Lyme battle to be honest with his fans and shine a light for anyone else dealing with the illness. “I now have so many special moments with all of you that I will never forget. I was reluctant to talk about this because I was always raised to keep something like this to yourself,” the singer said.

A family insider spilt that Justin first chalked up his fatigue and nerve pain to getting older and the demands of touring. It took months of pushing through before he got a proper diagnosis, finally making sense of what was going on. Even with everything going on, the source said Justin and Jessica Biel are solid as ever, “very committed to their marriage.”
