Television host Rachel Campos-Duffy has decided to part ways with FOX Noticias, the Spanish-language counterpart of FOX News. The network has already announced who will be taking over her role on the show.
Andrea Linares replaces Rachel Campos-Duffy as host of FOX Noticias
Rachel Campos-Duffy is a conservative television host and co-host of FOX & Friends Weekend on FOX News. She also co-hosted FOX Noticias, the show she has now chosen to step away from.
On Monday, December 8, the network announced that two-time Emmy-nominated journalist Andrea Linares will be taking over as the co-host. “We are very excited to welcome Andrea to our team on FOX Noticias and we are confident her reporting will resonate with our Latino audience,” FOX News’ Senior Vice President John Sylvester said in a press statement.
The statement also included Linares’ response. She wrote, “I am honored to join such a terrific team at FOX Noticias and FOX News to continue telling important stories that matter and impact the Hispanic community in South Florida and throughout the country.”
Linares is a University of Miami graduate with a degree in political science. She is joining FOX Noticias after anchoring daily two-hour newscasts at TelevisaUnivision since 2016, where she conducted interviews with public figures. Previously, she also anchored at WGEN-TV from 2010 to 2016, and also worked as a reporter at stations like WSBSTV and WLTV.
Additionally, FOX Noticias announced that it is launching new digital-first programs in February 2026 for its Spanish audience. One major addition is a weekly digital program, which will be available in both video and audio formats. It will feature in-depth interviews spanning multiple genres, such as sports, entertainment, and politics. Alongside this, FOX Noticias plans to introduce one-minute news updates. These brief updates will be released several times a day across all social media platforms.
Katrina Campins and Julie Banderas will continue to serve as the rotating co-anchors for FOX Noticias. Meanwhile, Campos-Duffy will continue to work on her show, FOX & Friends Weekend.
