Kim Cattrall Gets Married To Longtime Partner in London

Samantha Jones might not have believed in the institution of marriage, but Kim Cattrall sure does! The actor recently sent social media into a frenzy after tying the knot with her longtime partner, Russell Thomas. And just like that, Sex and the City fans got to witness their beloved Samantha in a wedding gown.

Kim Cattrall and Russell Thomas get married in an intimate wedding

Looks like Samantha took notes from Carrie’s City Hall wedding. Kim Cattrall, 69, just got married to 55-year-old audio engineer Russell Thomas. The super intimate ceremony took place at London’s Chelsea Old Town Hall, and fans can’t stop raving about it. The ceremony was a cozy affair with just 12 guests, a celebration of family, friends, and their enduring partnership.

Kim Cattrall’s wedding outfit gave a beautiful ode to the iconic Samantha Jones. Further adding to the excitement and happiness of SATC fans, the actor was styled by Emmy Award-winner and the show’s costume designer, Patricia Field. Kim rocked a Dior skirt suit paired with Cornelia James gloves and a Philip Treacy hat. Russell looked dashing as ever in a custom black suit with a golden tie, matching Kim’s vibe.

Speaking about their first meeting with Entertainment Weekly, Cattrall shared that they first met in 2016 at the BBC when Kim was on Woman’s Hour. “We kind of liked each other, we kept in touch, and then he came out to Vancouver. It was very brave of him because we didn’t really know each other other than having a few meals together. But he came, and we got along great, and we’ve been together ever since!” Cattrall told PEOPLE in 2020.

“I’m very comfortable around him. He’s a firecracker, and he’s got a wicked sense of humor. And he’s easy on the eyes!”, Kim said, praising her partner of almost 10 years.

This is Kim Cattrall‘s fourth time tying the knot. The Mannequin actress was previously married to Larry Davis (1977-79), architect Andre Lyson (1982-89), and musician Mark Levinson (1998-2004).
