Now, a new 911 call recording from the time of the incident has come to light, which reveals that the actress wasn’t responding in the hotel hallway.
New report claims Tara Reid wasn’t responding during 911 call in Chicago Hotel
According to recent reports from TMZ, American Pie actress Tara Reid was found inebriated at the DoubleTree Hotel Chicago O’Hare Airport in Rosemont. In a video obtained by the outlet, Reid struggled to get into a wheelchair and spoke with slurred words. Paramedics arrived at the scene and moved her to a hospital on Sunday morning, November 23. After returning home from the hospital, she also later spoke to the outlet, explaining what went down that night, explaining that she thinks someone spiked her drink when she stepped out for a smoke.
However, more details have now emerged about the incident after police released the recording of a 911 call made past midnight on November 23. In the recording published by TMZ, the caller said, “We have a guest here that is really inebriated and she needs help from the hospital.” The caller then continued, “She can barely stand. She can barely sit in a wheelchair. She’s not responding; sometimes she’s giving unresponsive answers.”
Further, as Reid speaks in the background in a slurred manner, the caller addresses her as “Ms. Reid,” after which Reid repeats the same words back to her. The caller then mentions to the 911 operator, “She’s a celebrity, just so you know.” When asked by the operator if she was responding normally, the caller said, “No, no. She’s not. She’s laying on the floor in the hallway. We don’t want her to hit her head if she gets up. We just wanna make sure she’s all right.”
