Travis Kelce addressed a popular question about his relationship with Taylor Swift during a recent podcast appearance. The NFL star shared whether he and the pop icon have ever argued in their 2.5 years together.
Travis Kelce shares whether he and Taylor Swift have fought
Travis Kelce stated that he and Taylor Swift have “never once” had an argument during their 2.5-year relationship. On the December 3 episode of his New Heights podcast, Kelce told guest George Clooney, “Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right. I haven’t gotten into an argument. Never once.”
George Clooney had previously claimed he and his wife, Amal Clooney, had never fought in 10 years of marriage. When Clooney asked Kelce if he could say the same, Kelce confirmed it, while laughing, during their podcast exchange. Clooney explained his perspective by saying, “Honestly, neither of us are gonna win the argument, so why get in? Dude, I’m 64 years old… what am I gonna argue about at this point?”
Clooney described Amal as “beautiful and smart” and said she stands for everything he believes in. He added, “I can’t believe how lucky I am. So what am I going to fight about?” Kelce responded to Clooney’s remarks by saying, “I’m just taking notes this whole time, big guy. You don’t even know.”
Kelce and Swift began dating in 2023 after he publicly mentioned not getting the chance to meet her at her Kansas City Eras Tour stop. Swift later described Kelce’s move as “metal as hell.” The couple announced their engagement in August 2025.
Kelce shared with GQ in August that they “fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with.” Swift also spoke about their connection in a BBC interview in October, saying, “There’s no point in time where he’s gonna be like, ‘I’m really upset that you’re still making the music.’”
