Her appearance was intended to shine a spotlight on military families. First Lady Melania Trump was also present alongside her. Even though Usha Vance had already addressed the divorce rumors, discussions around the subject have been sparked online once again.
JD Vance’s wife, Usha, doesn’t wear her wedding ring again amid rumors
The wife of JD Vance, Usha, accompanied Melania Trump at Joint Base Andrews in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The two helped assemble 700 holiday care packages for service members. She was dressed in a long-sleeve gray jacket and camel pants. However, eagle-eyed observers noticed that she was without her wedding ring.
This is the second time in recent weeks that she has been photographed without it. In late November, Usha was also seen ring-free during a visit to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. At the same time, JD Vance was attending a separate event and wearing his ring.
Those earlier images set off speculation about possible marital tension, but her spokesperson dismissed the rumors, explaining that the second lady is simply busy with her kids and political duties, and thus, sometimes forgets wearing the ring. They said Usha is “a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes.” (via People)
