In the latest episode of her FAFO series on YouTube, Kylie Kelce visited the Philadelphia Zoo. Here she spoke with various zookeepers, getting really close to animals and learning some really interesting facts about them. However, as she came across the tigers, the zookeeper revealed that they play Taylor Swift’s ‘Wood’ to get tigers in the mood.
Philadelphia Zoo using Taylor Swift’s ‘Wood’ getting tigers in the mood
For her December episode of FAFO of her Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, Kelce stepped out of the studio, visiting the Philadelphia Zoo. During this episode, she speaks with zookeepers, learning about the animals at the zoo, including Amur Tigers, Kenyan Sand Boas and Galapagos Tortoises. In the beginning, while speaking with the zoo’s Senior Director of Animal Care, Maggie Morse, Kelce meets Whiz, an Amur Tiger. She begins by saying, “I have so many questions,” and then asks, “How old is Whiz?”
After revealing his age to be 13 years, Morse goes into the details about Whiz, explaining what his life in the Zoo looks like. Further, she went on to mention an insider fact to Kelce, revealing that a female tiger named Rory just arrived. “It’s a little Love Island kind of situation here,” Morse remarked, leading to Kelce asking, “Does she have a favorite?” Morse then explains how Rory is leaning towards Whiz’s brother Dmitri, but is “able to choose which boyfriend she wants” so that they can “help keep genetics stable in tiger populations in AZA zoos.”
Kelce then shows her excitement for the possibility of a baby tiger saying, “Hey, Whiz, if it’s not you, fine. But I’m going to need you to talk up Dimitri to really lay it down because a baby tiger would be…”. Morse then jokingly revealed the music they play to get the tigers in the mood. “It’s a lot of Barry White happening. We started playing ‘Wood,’ actually, Taylor Swift’s ‘Wood,’ back of house,” she shared. Kylie then blushed and replied, “That might do it.”
