Netflix Series With 27% RT Score Might Not Get Season 3 After All

Meghan Markle’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan appears to be facing a new setback. The show’s future seems uncertain as the Duchess of Sussex’s remarks hint at discouraging news regarding a possible Season 3. Ahead of the release of its holiday special, Markle spoke about the show’s challenges and its future.

Meghan Markle says two eight-episode seasons of With Love, Meghan was ‘a lot of work’

Meghan Markle has hinted that her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan may not return for Season 3.

Speaking at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit on October 14, the Duchess of Sussex reflected on the creative and logistical challenges of producing two full seasons. She noted, “It’s a year of learns. Eight episodes for two seasons — it’s a lot of work.” Markle also shared how the experience reminded her of her time on Suits. She added, “I remember what goes into a production.”

When asked about the show’s future, Markle revealed that a special holiday episode will be released in November. She said, “The holiday special is coming out in November. It’s a really good one.” Offering a glimpse into what viewers can expect, she mentioned, “I do lots of gift wrapping techniques.”

While she didn’t confirm a third season, Markle suggested that future content may take on a different shape. She said, “I also recognize how much people want content in different sizes. Part of what we’re testing out now is, it’s amazing to be able to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes? And where can I share that with you?”

Across its two seasons, With Love, Meghan offered viewers a glimpse into Markle’s style of cooking, gardening, and other such activities. It also featured appearances from guests like Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, and more. The first season, which holds a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes’ Popcornmeter, premiered in March 2025, with the second following in August, which received a 27% rating.
