Deranged Minds Entertainment has announced a feature-length documentary about Harris, who appeared in four Halloween films. The documentary titled Danielle Harris Documentary has recently released its trailer.
The project was filmed over three years and features archival footage, private home videos and interviews with Harris, her family, friends and professional collaborators. The documentary’s official description details several difficult experiences in her life. These include her father’s death in an unsolved car accident, the suicides of a famous partner and a close friend, and a stalker who allegedly followed her for two decades. It also describes a pregnancy complication that reportedly caused her heart to stop.
The film follows Harris at home, on movie sets in Los Angeles, and at fan conventions. Co-director and producer Tristan Clay said working on the documentary gave him the opportunity to get to know Harris beyond her screen persona.
