Fans are convinced that Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley may have made it official. The couple has sparked engagement rumors with two recent social media posts.
On October 12, Hurley shared behind-the-scenes selfies from the set of The ’Burbs Season 2 on Instagram. In the photos, the actress wears a white bathrobe and a massive diamond ring on her left ring finger. While she conceals the diamond in the first photo by turning it around, the ring is clearly visible in the second image.
Hurley did not mention the ring in her caption, simply writing, “Day 1 on set #TheBurbs.” The omission left fans curious about the mysterious piece of jewelry. Three days later, Cyrus’s next Instagram post fueled further speculation.
On October 15, Cyrus posted a photo of himself on Instagram, with the song “Something with a Ring to It” by Mark Collie. The country music star added a lengthy caption about his upcoming show. He finished off the note with a cryptic, “Kinda has a ring [ring emoji] to it.” Needless to say, the diamond ring emoji left fans believing that an engagement announcement is on the horizon.
However, neither Cyrus nor Hurley has made any official remarks about the rumor. Whether or not the couple has truly made it official remains to be seen.
How Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley’s romance began
Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley first met on the set of the 2022 Christmas comedy Christmas in Paradise. The two eventually lost touch, but reconnected a few years later after Hurley reached out to Cyrus unexpectedly.
Cyrus opened up about their first meeting during an April 2025 appearance on Apple Music Country’s The Ty Bentli Show. “We did very few scenes together, but the couple times we were in the same scene there was a chemistry there,” Cyrus shared, as reported by People. “We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn’t laughing a lot.”
Cyrus and Hurley hard-launched their relationship on an Instagram post on April 20, 2025, with a photo of them sharing a tender moment. The couple has been going steady ever since.
