Samuel L. Jackson is set to star in an action film that echoes the visuals of films like Olympus Has Fallen. The film has Jackson field a mercenary takeover of his country, using only the vehicle at his disposal to save the day.
The Beast, which is the title of the film, refers to the US presidential state car, also known as Cadillac One or First Car. The film, as revealed in the new trailer, follows the President of the United States using The Beast to deal with a mercenary coup against the United States Government.

What’s happening in The Beast’s trailer?
The Beast’s trailer shows Samuel L. Jackson, playing the President of the United States, driving The Beast. With him is a Secret Service member, played by The Suicide Squad alum Joel Kinnaman. The film will also star Guy Burnet. The trailer depicts the coup that takes over the United States, with Jackson’s character presumably being the target. The trailer manages to show off the various amenities that exist in The Beast, whether it be the serious amount of damage it can take or the mini fridge that it has with alcohol in it.

The trailer also has some light moments, with Sam Jackson’s signature way of pronouncing a certain profanity being noted by Kinnaman’s character, who tries to say it the way the Pulp Fiction alum says it. The film is directed by Die Hard 2 and Cliffhanger director Renny Harlin. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 9, 2026.
Aura Entertainment bagged the distribution rights of the film in 2026. Regarding the film, its CEO Marc Goldberg said, “The Beast is exactly the kind of film that gets audiences back in theaters. Renny Harlin knows how to deliver action at the highest level, and with Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman leading the charge, this film is going to be an absolute must-see event. We couldn’t be more excited to bring it to audiences this fall.”
