Sydney Sweeney has made a major career change in the wake of her success with The Housemaid. The Euphoria actress switched agencies right before the release of her hit film, as her agent, Jennifer Millar, traded her Paradigm Talent Agency in for a position with Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
Now it has been revealed that Sweeney has joined Creative Artists Agency, which marks a significant change for her career. The actress was allegedly agentless when it came to her acting roles in 2026. Meanwhile, Paradigm has continued to work with her after the shift for brand endorsements and partnerships.
What movies does Sydney Sweeney have coming up?
Sydney Sweeney is currently slated to star in Josie Rourke’s upcoming tragicomedy, The Custom of the Country, based on the 1913 novel by Edith Wharton. It is set for a 2027 release, with no particular date pinned just yet.
She will be sharing the screen with Noah Centineo in a live-action adaptation of the Japanese military science fiction series, Gundam. No date has yet been set for the release of the film, but it has wrapped production. She is also set to return to The Housemaid franchise, starring in the sequel, The Housemaid’s Secret. She will be sharing the screen with Kirsten Dunst for the project. Lionsgate has scheduled the theatrical release for the film for December 17, 2027.
Sweeney is also currently slated to star in the Colman Domingo-directed film Scandalous!, where she will be essaying the role of Kim Novak. She is also set to star in a reimagining of The Sleepy Hollow, titled Hollow. Lindsey Anderson Beer is going to helm the director’s chair for the project.
Currently, the actress does not seem to have any commitments to appear on the small screen. However, there have been reports that Sydney Sweeney might be looking to star in a slew of projects currently being developed by her own production house, Honey Trap, which includes films and television shows.
