Ali G Movie Title, Release Date Revealed as Sacha Baron Cohen Shares Hilarious Video

Sacha Baron Cohen starrer latest Ali G movie is no longer a secret. In a hilarious announcement video, the film’s name and release date have been revealed.

What is the new Ali G movie’s title and release date?

Rumors and speculation had been building up about Ali G’s latest movie. A couple of weeks back, it was revealed that Cohen had secretly filmed a brand-new movie. Now, the actor himself has revealed its title: Ali G: Who Iz I? This will be yet another milestone for the fictional British hip-hop star, portrayed by Cohen.

Taking to social media, Cohen uploaded a video with the caption reading, “Dey haz finally made a documentary about me. And it ain’t like dat crap one about da penguins, dis one haz got at least twice as much animal s*x. Ali G: Who Iz I? Cominatcha on 10.23 wotever dat means.”

Some of Cohen’s notable accomplishments include interviewing renowned personalities like President Donald Trump and the Secretary-General of the UN, Boutros Boutros-Ghali. His initial exposure to a live audience came back in 1998 when Cohen debuted the character on Channel 4’s The 11 O’Clock Show.

Next up, it was Da Ali G Show during the early 2000s that catapulted the character to peak popularity. It also made an appearance in Ali G Indahouse back in 2002. Unfortunately, this particular movie did not have a great reception like that of Da Ali G Show. This was primarily because it was an out-and-out comedy project with Cohen playing the character of Ali G.

Meanwhile, this was not the case with Cohen’s HBO stints, which were mock documentaries instead. Thus, while it did have a satisfactory performance in international markets, the movie was deprived of a theatrical release in the US.

Now, with a brand-new attempt to amp up Ali G’s popularity, Sacha Baron Cohen will expect fans to replicate the old buzz. Ali G: Who Iz I? is set to begin its theatrical run on October 23, 2026.
